I could see how movers did the impossible to keep my things safe and deliver them in time. This has been a mixed experienced. We initially reserved our move... with a broker for 300 cubic feet, $3000 to move from Miami FL to Baton Rouge. Upon arrival of our ACTUAL movers (Absolute Relocation) the foremen explained to me how my belongings actually were going to be 600 cubic feet and that was estimate would increase quite a bit. We later found that this is common when reserving a 3rd party company. Absolute Relocation was great though. Discounting our rate, helping with free boxes for us to pack and delivering our items in 3 days. Foremen Alex we FANTASTIC!!read more

Armando, Junior and Salvador came and packed our three bedroom house... and moved us across the bay.They were there on the early side of the window, and worked tirelessly for a LOOOONG day of moving boxes and furniture.Their price quote was far less than other companies, and there were no "surprise" fees at the end. Nubia worked with me on scheduling and rescheduling and was a huge help in answering my questions.In the end, I felt like we should maybe have had another guy or two helping these guys move everything, but only because they were tired at the end of 12 hours of moving stuff.Moving is always a pain, but at least it wasn't because of the movers!read more
